Does God still speak to us IF we sin? (4)
Friends, I have already presented 3 scriptural justifications for the fact that God will still speak to us even IF we sin; you can find them here and here and here. This is the fourth and final.
After this, I hope you are convinced beyond every iota of doubt that God doesn't give silent treatments because He is angry at the one who is or who has gone astray. No, He doesn't. Rather, He lovingly redirects the person back to Him with His voice.
Think about it. DO YOU KEEP QUIET WHEN YOUR CHILD IS GOING ASTRAY? I am sure you don't. You talk to him or her, right? You tell him/her that he/she is in the wrong and you show him/her the right way. If you do that, why do you think God won't or doesn't? Are you better than Him?
Matthew 7:11 says "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?" The issue under discussion is not exactly about giving, but this scripture can be applied in some way. Point is, if you talk to your erring child in a bid to get him out of his/her path of error, how much more God our Father who is infinitely better than us! Note that, this only applies to those who are children of God. If you have put your faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross, then you are a child of God.
Beloved, look at the case of King David in 2 Samuel 11. After he was done with the terrible sins of adultery and murder, God still sent a Prophet to talk to him (2 Sam 12); and the intent was to get him to realize his errors and repent. David was wise enough to heed the voice of God through Prophet Nathan although that didn't stop him from suffering the consequences since he was under the law.

Friends, I hope by now you see reasons with my position. I believe this is one of the many reasons the Bible said "thou art inexcusable, o man" (Rom 2:1). You really do not have any excuse to continue in that error because in it, God will be speaking to you. Whether you choose to respond and heed His voice of instruction is entirely up to you, but know this, He will speak and you will hear. I hope you realize that He is not angry when you go astray. I hope you learn to listen to Him and respond to His voice. God bless you
