Does God still speak to us IF we sin? (2)

In a previous post Does God still speak to us IF we sin? (1), I presented my first scriptural justification for the fact that sin does not stop God from speaking to you or you from hearing His voice. This post addresses the second.
Note that the aim of these posts is so you are convinced that God doesn't give silent treatments because He is angry at the one who has made a mistake. No, He doesn't. Rather, He lovingly redirects the person back to Him with His voice.

Do you remember the story of Cain and Abel? I am sure you do. After Cain killed Abel, God spoke to him saying “Where is Abel your brother?” (Genesis 4:9 NKJV). Did Cain hear? Of course, He did. Cain heard and responded “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” (Genesis 4:9 NKJV).

Friends, this again clearly shows that God still speaks to us when we make mistakes. I am sure you know the conversation wasn't face to face. God spoke to Cain like He speaks to us today, and he heard and responded like we do when we converse with God. And it's no different IF we make mistakes. God still speaks, and His aim is to help us find our way back to the paths of righteousness. My prayer is that we all learn to respond to the voice of God always in Jesus' name, amen. God bless you.

PS: "IF" was used intentionally to indicate that making a mistake is not guaranteed or definite. God is able to keep us from falling (Jude 24). However, if you refuse to respond to God's leading, you may very quickly go astray because God's voice is designed to be our compass.
