Do whatever God tells you to do

John 2:5 (AMP)
His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
God is too busy saying what He doesn't mean and will not do. His Word is God (John 1:1) and He honours His Words even more than His name (Psa 138:2). So, WHATEVER He tells you to do, take it SERIOUSLY and DO IT. The blessing, the miracle is in the doing (Jam 1:25).
Mary, the mother of Jesus, understood this truth very well hence she told the servants at the wedding in Cana of Galilee to do whatever Jesus told them to do. It was necessary for her to say this to them because she knew there was a possibility of Jesus telling them to do something 'ridiculous' and 'unreasonable' from a human perspective. But you know what, God's ways are not man's ways. His ways are much more higher than ours (Isa 55:8-9). His wisdom is incomparable to ours. He chooses the foolish things to confound the wise (1 Cor 1:27). What He tells you doesn't have to make sense to you. He doesn't always do things the conventional way. But whatever He says is loaded with power (Heb 4:12).
The disciples realized this early that's why whenever Jesus told them to do something 'ridiculous' like go catch a fish, open its mouth and then they'll find money (Matt 17:27), they obeyed. They did whatever Jesus said because they knew that He is God; He is not a man that He should lie (Num 23:19). God doesn't make empty promises; He doesn't cajole people; He will do whatever He says He will do.
The earth and its fullness belongs to Him, what can't He give to you? He who parted the Red Sea, walked on water, calmed the raging storm, raised up dead Lazarus after 4 days, fed 5000 men with a paltry 5 loaves and 2 fishes, healed the woman who had a blood disease for 12 years, etc, what can't He do for you? He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Remember, He created the universe with the Words of His mouth, so His Words have the power to create whatever you desire.
So, what has He told you to do? Like the servants at the wedding, the widow at Zarephath, the prophet's wife who came to Elisha whose late husband left them with debts and so many others who obeyed and a miracle was wrought through their obedience, do whatever He tells you and you'll receive awesome miracles in your life too in Jesus' name, Amen!
