Be humble.
Be humble. Jesus - our example - is the epitome of humility and humility is also a fruit of the Spirit. Don't be a show-off; don't go telling everyone who cares to listen "I have this", "I have done this", " I can do this". Yes, there is a place for that and you should when absolutely necessary, but don't go about intimidating people with your résumé. Jesus didn't tell everybody He met "I am the Son of God; I am God". He hardly declared His identity publicly. Even though it was a fact and maybe it was necessary to do that sometime (during His crucifixion comes to mind), He hardly did. In some occasions, He told people not to tell anyone what He had done. The bible records only one situation where He voiced that "He is the Christ" and only one person was there, the Samaritan woman at the well. By the way, she initiated the conversation about His identity. Be humble, be meek; don't be overtly expressive or vocal with your identity, exploits and accomplishments. Not 'stating the facts' doesn't make it less of a fact and vice-versa. Let the mind of Christ be in you.
